Before the launch of the full highlight reel, JLL wanted a ‘teaser trailer’ to embed on their website within 48 hours of the event. Our initial brief for the overall project was to capture every angle of the triathlon, showing the intensity, fun and excitement of the day. The focus needed to be on the event itself and not the sponsor.
When we were first approached by JLL to film the Property Triathlon 2017 we were very excited. We have a broad range of experience in event video production, especially obstacle races and motorsport.
Our experience meant we could offer a range of different options from gimbal mounted cameras to aerial videography.
After brainstorming with the JLL team we came up with a cinematic approach, showing the scale of the event as well as the passion and enthusiasm for the race itself.
With roughly 600gb of footage to work with once the day was over, we had lots of footage to use for both the teaser and the final video.
With a wealth of great footage still remaining, we produced smaller clips to use for future promotion, showing how a single shoot can often translate into a whole series of videos. We loved every minute of this project.
